PRE-SLICED PRODUCT
Cut it into very thin slices: this will release all the aromas and flavors of this unique product.
Enjoy it at room temperature: we recommend leaving the slices out of the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to enhance their intense flavor.

WHOLE PRODUCT
Let the product breathe for 30 minutes before displaying: vacuum packaging suspends the skin's pigmentation, so we recommend removing the product from the bag 30 minutes before displaying. This will allow the rind to take on its characteristic amber color.
Remove the rind only when ready to slice: gently trim the rind as you slice the mortadella; it will peel easily, preserving all the flavor and aroma of the product.

Store at a temperature between 0°C and 5°C.

We recommend pairing it with a good red wine to fully enjoy its unmistakable flavour.

Pasture-Raised Pigs for better animal welfare

Mortadella KmRosa is produced using meat that comes from a supply chain that adopts a protocol to guarantee animal welfare. It is based on an exclusively pasture-based rearing method, respecting the rhythm of their natural life and growing in an environment where they are free to indulge their natural curiosity.

Certiquality controlled and guaranteed supply chain

The entire production chain is characterised by maximum transparency. All information on the feed administration, pig rearing, slaughter and processing stages is reported on the Life Path certificate that each pig is provided with.

Proximity

The pigs are reared and processed in the provinces of Emilia Romagna, within a 200 km radius of our factory. This allows us to limit the CO2 emissions generated by animal transport.

Certified pig feed

The pigs’ feed is based on carefully selected grains mixed with guaranteed plant-based Omega 3 content.

No antibiotics in the last 4 months

No antibiotics are used in the last 120 days of the animals' lives, further guaranteeing the healthiest meat.

Less than 2% salt

The low salt content is an important health benefit.
