The company's first headquarters was a small artisan workshop in the heart of Bologna, specializing in the production of cured meats.
To facilitate its growth, Salumificio Raimondi moved to Zola Predosa, in the province of Bologna, with the construction of the new headquarters of Felsineo S.p.A.
The company decides to focus on the production of a single product: mortadella.
Felsineo became a market leader in the early 1990s and a partner to the most important large-scale retailers.
Felsineo obtains US Export, BRC and IFS certifications and is the first company in the meat sector to obtain ISO 22000 certification, specific to the food industry.
Felsineo arrives in China and becomes the first mortadella producer authorised to export to this country.
FelsineoVeg S.r.l. is established, the flagship of the Group's diversification strategy, specialising in vegetable and organic deli slices.
The range of artisan mortadella chosen to best express Bologna's gastronomic excellence comes to life. The Selezione Famiglia Raimondi (Raimondi Family Selection) line is a tribute to the family that made Felsineo the great company it is today.
A new corporate brand is born, bringing together Felsineo S.p.A., FelsineoVeg S.r.l. and Mopur Vegetalfood S.r.l. under the broad umbrella of sustainability.
The Group takes another important step towards sustainability: Felsineo S.p.A. and FelsineoVeg S.r.l. become Benefit Corporations.
The new plant, equipped with the latest technology and designed exclusively for Felsineo, has been installed, the result of the Group's ongoing commitment to Innovation.
